Multicultrulism Project
Every term the grade 6s have to do a term project.In the first term our project had to be about multicultralism.We had to choose either a country or their religions/culture etc.We had up to 5 weeks to finish our project.I chose to do my project on Aboriginal Culture.For my project i had a booklet of information.The information that i had was about Aboriginal food and medicine,Aboriginal sport stars and a bit of culture.I also did a diohrama.In the diohrama i made a little hut out of sticks and i printed off little pictures of aboriginal people,kangaroos and i also printed of a big picture of Uluru(for the background)For the project i brang in a boomerang that actually worked.I also made a didgeridoo out of a rool of cardboard my dad got from his work.I painted the didgeridoo and on it i drew a snake curling around it.For this prject i got an A and i was 1 mark away from an A+.I had fun while doing this project mostly because i got to paint stuff and use the hot glue gun.While using the hot glue gun i burnt myself about 3 times.
'WHO WANTS TO BE PRIME MINISTER" Project
In the second term of the year we did a project called 'WHO WANTS TO BE A PRIME MINISTER" And for this project we had to write a speech of why we should be prime minister of 6kd.In it we had to include Why we should be P.M,What we would do if we were the P.M of 6KD,Social Achievment,Personal Achievments etc.We had 2 weeks to complete this project.We had to time our speeches because our speeches could only be up to 4 minutes long.My speech went for 3 minutes and 53 seconds.After the whole grade had finished their speeches we chose five candidates that would have a chance of becoming the prime minister of 6KD.Unfortunately i was not chosen as 1 of the 5 candidates.The 5 candidates that my class chose were Samim,Jacob,Bradley,Jayden and Maddie.M.After these candidates were chosen they had to choose a group of people to help make them get chosen as the prime minister of 6KD.There were 5 roles for each team.Those 5 roles were 2 Advertisers,a speech writer,a reasercher and ofcourse the candidate.I was chosen to be in Bradleys group and in his group i was the Speech Writer.I had to help Bradley write his final speech.
The Human Body Project 'LUNGS'
This Term 'term 3' we did a project on The Human Body. This is because our topic for this term is The Human Body. We were able to choose out of the lungs,heart,intestines or Kidneys. I chose to do the Lungs. We had to do a diaphgram. My diaphgram was a moving one. When you pulled down on a balloon the 'lungs' would move. For this project i got Gold plus.
